Daniel Best (known to WDXD listeners as “Daniel on the Radio”) has been involved with the station since 2015.

In the early days, Daniel worked behind the scenes alphabetizing CDs and vinyl records in the music library. Gradually he developed an interest in being on the air.  In 2017 he began hosting his own show twice a week. He plans out his show in advance, creating a playlist and bin of music so that his selections are fresh.

Daniel says, “I love doing work behind the board. I enjoy radio because it’s live and I can talk directly to the listeners. I also love doing production.”

Currently, Daniel is juggling his time between virtual high school, radio, and learning about the technical aspects of how radio stations work. He is running sound on Sunday mornings at church and is also pursuing some video interests, including producing YouTube videos.
